Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that K. Lance Anderson, member in our Austin office, has been named to the National Law Journal’s list of Texas Trailblazers.
The National Law Journal recognizes professionals who have moved the needle in the legal industry. Lance works with numerous clients within the innovation and research enterprise throughout Texas, assisting them on clinical and regulatory matters, transactions, strategic collaborations, and intellectual property matters.
“I am truly honored to be selected by the National Law Journal as a trailblazer in Texas. To have this area of my practice recognized is exciting to see. We are witnessing so many changes in our economy, and one key driver is the ever-increasing focus on innovation. The rise of innovation ecosystems, including those surrounding our universities and research institutions, is poised to leverage a new generation of entrepreneurial professionals,” said Lance.
Lance has extensive experience preparing and negotiating technology and intellectual property-focused transactions, as well as technology aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other complex commercial transactions. A registered patent attorney, Lance also conducts patent prosecution, due diligence for licensing and acquisitions, technology agreements, and related operational legal issues on behalf of his clients. Lance is also a member of the firm’s management group.
