John Cunningham was recently quoted in the American Banker article, "How the killing of California's AI bill could affect banks," discussing the bills being signed and vetoed by California Governor Gavin Newsom that cover the deployment and regulation of generative AI technology. "This was all a balancing act for Governor Newsom," said John, "This is about the cost-benefit issue and the balance between continued innovation in the AI area and reasonable regulatory oversight.
