Our experienced team aggressively pursues and defends creditor rights and remedies across the country for a robust and varied client base. We regularly represent national and regional banking institutions to recover collateral (real, personal, intangible, aviation, etc.), appoint receivers and collect defaulted loan balances and guarantees. On the corporate front, Dickinson Wright represents countless clients, both large and small, across a wide range of industries, from media to automotive to health care. We regularly represent clients in complex contractual balance and remedy disputes, and when necessary, help them find and seize assets and recover judgments. Bankruptcy Litigation

Dickinson Wright pursues creditors’ rights in bankruptcy courts from coast and coast. With a national presence and experience in handling cross-border insolvencies, whenever (and wherever) bankruptcy is filed, Dickinson Wright is available to provide excellent representation to our clients. Our team aggressively prosecutes involuntary petitions, stay relief, dismissal and conversion motions as well as objections to financing, sale, executory contract motions, claims and plan confirmation.

In the ever-present area of preference claims, we have defended claims ranging up to 85 million dollars and involving thousands of transfers. Dickinson Wright has developed a proprietary software program to thoroughly and efficiently analyze and minimize preference exposure.
