Nicholas Lee is an intellectual property and business attorney who helps clients develop, protect, and maximize the value of their intellectual property. With over two decades of experience in litigation, counseling, and procurement, he advises businesses of all sizes—both domestic and international—on securing patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
Nick works closely with clients to align their intellectual property strategies with broader business goals. Whether enforcing rights, defending against infringement claims, or navigating complex patent filings, he delivers practical, results-oriented counsel. He has secured patents across a range of industries—including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, nanotechnology, and green technology—helping clients protect innovations that are critical to their success.
Nick has extensive experience in patent and trademark enforcement, brand protection, and litigation. He has handled numerous Schedule A cases, vigorously defending intellectual property rights against online infringers operating through e-commerce platforms. Over the years, Nick has become the go-to attorney for Schedule A patent and trademark enforcement, representing both domestic and international clients. He has successfully obtained injunctive relief, asset restraints, and monetary damages against counterfeiters and unauthorized sellers, helping clients protect and preserve their brands in the digital marketplace.
He also represents clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) in opposition and cancellation proceedings, advising on trademark disputes and protecting trademark portfolios through both litigation and administrative channels.
Beyond intellectual property, Nick represents companies in high-stakes commercial litigation, including class action lawsuits and product liability claims—protecting their interests in and out of the courtroom.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Nick worked as an analytical chemist in the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors, equipping him with a strong technical foundation to understand and advocate for his clients' innovations. He began his legal career at a boutique IP firm in Chicago and gained international experience as a summer associate at South Korea’s largest full-service law firm.
Nick has represented clients in state and federal courts across the country, including jurisdictions in California, Oregon, Idaho, Florida, Texas, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., New Jersey, and New York, ensuring strong advocacy wherever his clients do business.
