
Luis Montanez is an associate in Dickinson Wright’s Litigation practice group, where he focuses on complex and commercial litigation. He brings experience handling tort and contractual disputes, offering practical solutions for clients in various industries. Luis earned his J.D. from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While in law school, he was a senior staff member for the Nevada Law Journal and gained hands-on legal experience representing asylum seekers as a student attorney in the Thomas & Mack Immigration Clinic.
Before joining Dickinson Wright, Luis served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Joe Hardy, Jr. at the Eighth Judicial District Court. His legal career also includes roles as a judicial intern for the Honorable Nancy L. Allf (ret.) and experience as an associate attorney with several law firms in Nevada, focusing on complex and commercial litigation matters. Additionally, Luis was a legal intern at Nevada State University’s Office of General Counsel, where he assisted the university’s general counsel on a wide range of legal matters.
