Jonah Rappazzo is an associate in Dickinson Wright’s Phoenix office. He is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience representing clients in business, insurance, and liability disputes. With a proven track record of success, Jonah has handled a broad range of complex legal matters. He routinely manages cases from their inception through resolution via motion practice, arbitration, and jury trial. In that capacity, Jonah’s experience sets him apart. He has taken over 100 depositions, including experts, parties, and non-party witnesses, and has first-chaired a jury trial and several arbitrations – all with favorable outcomes for his clients.
In the insurance industry, Jonah has helped insurers navigate complex disputes involving coverage issues, claims handling, general liability, and professional liability claims against their insureds. Whether negotiating favorable settlements or aggressively representing clients in court, Jonah has consistently delivered results for self-insured companies, insurers, and their insureds. His experience spans everything from premises, auto, and professional liability to defending manufacturers, distributors, and retailers in defect cases arising from exploding batteries, cooking appliances, children’s car seats, auto safety features, and camping equipment.
In the business litigation arena, Jonah represents banks, lenders, construction companies, and a variety of other businesses, both bringing and defending lawsuits involving breach of contract and business torts. Jonah has also served as local counsel for large, national corporations involved in matters litigated in Arizona.
Outside of work, Jonah plays an integral role in his community. He is involved in fundraising for local charities and has long-supported Arizona’s 20-30 Club, Children in Need Foundation, Scottsdale Charros, and other local organizations. Jonah is also a former Board Member of Support My Club, an organization that helped finance extracurricular activities for underfunded schools. In his spare time, Jonah enjoys golfing, rooting for Valley sports teams, and spending time with his wife, two kids, and friends.
