An associate with Dickinson Wright’s Las Vegas office, Alexis Taitel spent two years as a law clerk for two federal judges in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada. She graduated magna cum laude from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law in 2021, where she was an editor for the Nevada Law Journal, a member of the Society of Advocates moot court team, and President of the Public Interest Law Association. Prior to law school, she worked in grants management for the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C., where she managed grants supporting humanitarian landmine removal and nuclear nonproliferation efforts around the world. She also worked as an advocate with the National Human Trafficking Hotline in Washington, D.C.
Alexis has bachelor's and master's degrees in international relations—graduating summa cum laude—from the University of Oklahoma, where she also completed a minor in Social Justice. While at OU, she was one of 59 individuals selected nationwide as a Harry S. Truman Scholar for her exceptional academic achievement, leadership potential, and commitment to public service. She was born and raised in Reno and is a proud native Nevadan.
