Dickinson Wright LLP, Canada’s leading full-service business law firm specializing in cross-border counsel, is pleased to announce that Lawyer Tracy Bergeron Lucha has joined the firm’s Toronto office as Of Counsel.
Ms. Bergeron Lucha represents employers in respect to workplace safety and insurance, human rights, and other labor and employment law matters, including wrongful dismissal, health and safety, and labor arbitration. She regularly represents employers at tribunal hearings and mediations including HRTO, WSIB and WSIAT and provides advice regarding obligations under the Employment Standards Act, 2000, and other federal and provincial labor and employment related laws.
She is also well-versed in advising clients on labor and employment-related issues arising out of the purchase and sale of a business, including successor employer obligations and restrictive covenants. Ms. Bergeron further assists clients with inquiries arising from day-to-day workplace concerns and in the development and drafting of employment-related contracts, workplace policies and handbooks, termination and severance agreements.
Ms. Bergeron Lucha is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Essex Law Association, and the American Bar Association. She received her B.A. and M.A. from Laurentian University and her LL.B. from the University of Windsor School of Law.
