Michael Beckwith was recently quoted in the MoneyLaundering.com article, “AMLA, AML Reform and Divergence: Compliance in 2025,” highlighting possible changes in AML policies for the global financial-services industry. He notes that AML enforcement actions by U.S. regulators will likely be “framed in the national-security context,” with an increased focus on “money-laundering organizations and sanctions evasion.” Beckwith also predicts that the bulk of U.S. prosecutions in the AML space will likely shift toward money laundering organizations.
