Dickinson Wright, Canada’s leading full-service business law firm specializing in cross-border counsel, is pleased to announce that Matthew McLeod has joined the firm’s Toronto office as Of Counsel.
Matt practices corporate and commercial law. He advises clients on mergers & acquisitions, organizing and structuring new and existing corporations, partnerships, and joint ventures, and drafting foundational documents, such as shareholder agreements and other corporate governance documents. Prior to returning to private practice, Matt was an executive in the cannabis industry, working for both private and public companies in federally regulated cannabis production and provincially regulated cannabis retail.
Matt received his undergraduate and masters degrees from The Royal Military College of Canada and his JD from Western University.
