Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that Attorneys Dan Ujczo and Suzanne Sukkar will be speaking at the NAFTA-Canada Seminar, presented by Youngstown State University Williamson College of Business Administration and Ohio Small Business Development Centers Export Assistance Network, on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
The seminar will focus on providing an update on the NAFTA-Canada rules and regulations as well as global immigration issues. Topics that will be covered include:
• The Market Opportunities: As presented by U.S.-Canada and NAFTA trade.
• Before, at and behind the border: Legal considerations for engaging in North American Trade.
• Business Travel and Immigration: Issues related to NAFTA.
• NAFTA Rules of Origin: NAFTA under the Trump Administration

Dan Ujczo, Of Counsel and Cross-Border Business Development Director, is an international trade and customs lawyer who specializes in Canada-United States matters. In addition to his legal practice, Dan has responsibility for coordinating the firm’s innovative Canada-US Platform where he collaborates with more than 400 Dickinson Wright attorneys who regularly assist businesses that have cross-border issues such as customs and compliance, corporate structuring, M&A, taxation, business immigration, intellectual property protection, and financial incentives.
Suzanne Sukkar, Of Counsel, has years of experience in all areas of immigration law, including, obtaining non-immigrant employment-based visas, immigrant employment-based visas, outbound (global) immigration, family-based immigration, and naturalization. She is experienced in conducting I-9 and LCA file audit training. She has also developed a niche expertise in the area of E-1/E-2 (treaty trader/investor) visa applications, consular processing, and start-up ventures.
