Join Dickinson Wright and Attorney Dan Ujczo for the second Great Lakes Economic Forum on April 24-26, 2016 at the Delta Hotel in Toronto. The Great Lakes Economic Forum will bring together hundreds of industry executives, government officials, leading academics and members of the NGO community who have a stake in growing the economy in the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Region safely and sustainably while improving the well-being of the region’s citizens.
Dickinson Wright Attorney and Cross-Border Business Development Director Dan Ujczo will serve as a panelist for “The Right Employees for the Job – Transitioning Youth from School to Success and Facilitating the Movement of Workers”. Other plenary and concurrent panel discussions will cover a wide range of topics, including:

• Optimizing and greening freight transportation
• Planning and permitting transboundary infrastructure projects
• Using big data to digitize border operations
• Expanding preclearance to all modes of travel
• Shifting to a low-carbon economy
• Growing binational tourism

• Improving cross-border interoperability to enhance public safety
